What’s Happening?

America’s Small Business Development Centers (ASBDCs) are dedicated to helping clients who are hopeful small business owners. Many of these clients should be considering a franchise business model. Why?

> Recently released research from Oxford Economics shows that, “Nearly one-third of survey respondents (32%) said they would not own a business without a franchise business model.” For women and first-time business owners the percentage is even higher.

> Previously released research from Price Waterhouse Coopers shows that in industries where both franchised and independently owned businesses compete, the average franchise establishment will have sixty percent (60%) greater revenue than the average independently owned business.

> SBA guaranteed lenders are much more receptive to considering loan applications of franchise business startups than independent business startups.

ASBDC has created a program called FranFit to help you find and investigate franchise opportunities that may meet your needs. What clients are a good ‘fit’?

> Clients already interested in the franchise business model.

> Clients interested in doing business in an industry in which both franchised and independently owned businesses compete.

> Clients who think they want to be in business but don’t know which one is best for them or how to go about finding it.

The resources of the ASBDC are offered to you FREE and with no obligation. Learn the details of those services and how you can use them to your greatest benefit during an exclusive 50-minute Lunch and Learn webinar event.
