Get off the couch and join us at the Resolution Run 5K at Gregg Clarke Park -- then join us at the pool for the City of Kyle's Polar Bear Splash!

If you do the 5K AND the Polar Bear Splash, you'll receive a special commemorative item for participating in the Highly Kinda Elite and Extremely Kinda Professional Kyle Duathlon, in addition to the usual cool race swag and Polar Bear Splash swag!

You must register for the 5K and the Polar Bear Splash during the registration process in order to be part of the Kyle Duathlon recognition.

Polar Bear Splash might be held in a couple of waves depending on participation (we will email out info a few days before the event). Resolution Run participants will go in the first wave, after the run and medals are done (plenty of time to walk over and get your mind ready for the next stage of your duathlon)

1K will be free! Anyone who wants to run it or walk it -- just come join us!

Notes:

December 8: You must register for the race and the splash by 5 p.m. in order to guarantee your Polar Bear Splash hoodie.

December 12: You must register for the race by 11:59 p.m. in order to guarantee your Resolution Run shirt

December 17: Registration for the Polar Bear Splash will close at 11:59 p.m. There are no walk-up registrations for the Polar Bear Splash.

December 28: Online Registration for the Resolution Run will close at 11:59 p.m.

Directions and Parking

Gregg Clarke Park ballfield is at approximately 1300 Center St, Kyle Tx 78640. Parking is available in parking lot of Gregg Clarke and on the streets around the corner (Ranger), unless otherwise marked. Carpooling is the best, and most appreciated, option! No parking in the ballfield lot.

Must register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline to guarantee receipt of shirt requested.

Shirt Guarantee Deadline is typically 14 days before race day, maybe earlier due to holidays.

Extra shirts are ordered conservatively so as not to expend funds on shirts that could go to the cause. If having a shirt is important to you, please register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline.

Races start and finish at the small parking lot at Gregg Clarke Ballfield, off Center Street, address listed at the top of this page.

We are Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold.

5K is chip timed.

1K will not begin until all 5K participants have returned to the finish line.

Medals are not awarded to 1K participants. All participants 10 and under receive a finisher token.

Online Registration will close 4 days before race day. Walk Up registration is available during stated Packet Pickup times above. Cash, Check, or Venmo accepted.

Walk Up Registration closes 15 minutes before race start time.

No refunds, but you may transfer your registration to another person.

Packets may be picked up by another person.

All Registration Changes must be handled on race morning with the timing company.

Packets to be shipped will be shipped following the close of the race, if shipping is offered as an option.

All packets not retrieved by the end of race morning will be donated to Hays Clothing Closet.
