What’s Happening?

In the lead up to the upcoming NC Rare & Vintage Festival that is rapidly approaching, we are throwing a “Rare Beer” tap takeover with our friends at Divine Barrel and NC Rare & Vintage!

We are each going to tap some rare beers from each of our brewery’s cellars along with our new collaboration - Survivable Compounds.  You will also have the ability to enter a raffle for two (now sold out) VIP passes to NC Rare & Vintage Festival.

We will also be donating a portion of the sales from the event to the The Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling

The beers on tap will be the following:

The Glass Jug - Currant Conditions - 6.5% ABV - Barrel-aged golden sour with black currants. Funky, earthy, and tart, with a nice balance of oak and fruit. Complex and very enjoyable.

The Glass Jug - Survivable Compounds - 7.2% ABV - Together with our pals at Divine Barrel Brewing, we created this Hazy IPA and packed it full of hops that have been identified to contain the highest amount of survivable flavor compounds.  These are all of your favorite hop-derived flavors and aromas, mixed together to create a beer with the biggest, fruitiest, juiciest, most citrusy aroma and flavor per pound of hops possible.

Divine Barrel - Comfort in Darkness - 10.5% ABV - This Imperial Stout spent 13 quiet months in the comfortable darkness of freshly emptied Willett bourbon barrels. This viscous, jet black beer is decadently complex with notes of roasted coffee, rich chocolate, oak, and a warming bourbon heat. Drink fresh or allow this amazing beer to evolve.

Divine Barrel - Largesse - 6.4% ABV - A mixed culture American Wild Ale that rested in red wine barrels for 18 months. Time allowed for the development of beautiful notes of bright lemony tartness, subtle strawberry and honey undertones, complex barnyard funk, and a pleasant dry, oaky finish.

Try them all individually or together as a Flight of 4oz pours.

We will also have a Food Truck out front from 6-9PM.  Myles Travitz will be performing live music from 7:30-10:30PM.
