Starcross Benefit Concert - presented by Gualala Arts

Nonprofit Events Live Music Concert

What’s Happening?

On Sunday, December 28th at 2 p.m., the Gualala Arts Center will host an extraordinary musical event featuring two internationally acclaimed artists: cellist Angela Park and violinist David McCarroll. Presented by Gualala Arts, the Starcross Benefit Concert promises to be a moving afternoon of music and goodwill, supporting projects through the Starcross Community.

Tickets are $100 in advance and $105 on the day of the concert. They are available at Gualala Arts, the Dolphin Gallery, and online at GualalaArts.org.

Angela Park, a celebrated soloist and chamber musician, has performed with world-renowned ensembles including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic, and Helsinki Baroque. Her global career has taken her to leading festivals such as Marlboro and Verbier, and she remains committed to advancing the music of living composers while continuing her work as a baroque specialist. A graduate of Curtis Institute of Music, the Universität der Künste Berlin and of New England Conservatory, Park currently teaches at Carnegie Mellon University.

Joining her is a Annapolis native David McCarroll, recently appointed concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Known for his expressive clarity and musical depth, McCarroll has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages—from Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw to New York’s Carnegie Hall—and in ensembles alongside legends like Mitsuko Uchida and Kim Kashkashian. He is also an active humanitarian, supporting peace and AIDS relief efforts through music.

Together, Park and McCarroll will bring their artistry and compassion to the Gualala stage in support of a vital cause. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience two of classical music’s finest talents in an intimate coastal setting.
