One Voice: A Black History Narrative

Christianity Storytelling Performance Art Community Black History Month

What’s Happening?

Jeremiah “JDew” Dew will perform his “One Voice: A Black History Narrative” on Sunday, February 13 at 6:00pm in the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. JDew is a graduate of Bob Jones University and a member of North Hills here in Greenville. He also served as the “Director of Fun” for the Greenville Drive for ten years, and is currently the on-court hype man for Clemson University Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs.

Approaching Black history from a historical perspective rather than a political one, JDew uses the speeches of historical figures themselves, allowing us to hear their unique voices as they used them in their times, and encouraging us to consider how we can each use our one voice in our time.

This is a FREE event and all are welcome! Questions? Contact Chelsea Fraser, cfraser@firstpresgreenville.org or 864.520.4594.
