Sustainable Chocolate with Kakawa Chocolate House

Presentation Tastings Exhibit

What’s Happening?

Join us for a presentation by Bonnie Bennett, co-founder of Kakawa Chocolate House (located next door to the museum). After explaining a little about the fascinating history of chocolate, Bennett will sit down for a conversation about the important role of sustainable production and agroforestry with Jane Winchell, the Sarah Fraser Robbins director of PEM's Dotty Brown Art & Nature Center and coordinating curator for Knowing Nature: Stories of the Boreal Forest. Join us afterwards for a special chocolate demonstration and tasting!

After the program, be sure to visit Knowing Nature: Stories of the Boreal Forest on its last day.
