With Friends Outside Local Kid Friendly Spring Socializing Other Entertainment Charitable Events DJ

What’s Happening?

Join us at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado on Sunday, May 22, 2022, for the 13th Annual STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP Awareness Walk/Run. We will host a self-timed 5K run, in addition to a Family Fun Walk.

We will be  hosting a dove release to honor those who have left too soon. The release will take place at 9:00 AM at the start of the walk/run. If you are walking in memory of a family member taken by epilepsy, please let us know so that we can include you in this remembrance.

For those who wish to fundraise for this event, we have some very exciting rewards for those of you who do.  We will also be awarding one lucky winner with an all-major-expense paid trip to Epilepsy Awareness Expo and Day at Disneyland this Oct/Nov. One entry for each $250 raised.  The winner will be announced at STOMP on May 22. Click on the green Fundraising button in the upper right-hand corner for details.

Walk Day Registration is $35 Adult (13 and up) and $20 Children (7-12). No pets/dogs allowed. Service dogs are welcomed and encouraged. Check-in and walkup registration begin at 7:30 AM, walk/run start at 9:00 AM.

Stay up to date on details by joining our Facebook event page!

Funds raised through this event provide funding for fully-trained seizure-response dogs, life-saving movement monitors for those in need and grant wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Expo and Day at Disneyland.

More about Chelsea Hutchison Foundation
The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation grants comfort and hope to those affected by epilepsy through providing tangible monitoring resources, vital information, and a safe haven for conversation and community. Our main goal is to raise awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected, Unexplained and Unwitnessed Death in Epilepsy) and to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families living with epilepsy. We raise funds to provide education about SUDEP and to provide seizure response dog grants, (what we believe to be) lifesaving movement monitors that help to protect against SUDEP and grant wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Day and Expo at Disneyland. We stay up-to-date on current trends in medical technology in order to be able to provide the most effective devices as they become available. We respect the value and quality of life of every person living with epilepsy. We are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow individuals and families greater independence, increased confidence, ability to enjoy social environments, and community understanding.
