The Subject Lecture Series: Joshua Kissi

Museum Exhibit Lecture Storytelling

What’s Happening?

The Subject is a free lecture series exploring how influential artists and cultural leaders transform their ideas into culture-shifting moments. Through 45-minute lectures, speakers unpack their creative processes, pivotal decisions, and lessons learned. The series offers a rare look into the thinking behind influential work, giving emerging creatives both the inspiration and a practical blueprint to build something of their own.

This lecture series is sponsored by the Mark and Mary Goff Fiterman Lecture Fund.

Joshua Kissi:
Joshua Kissi is a Ghanaian-American filmmaker, photographer, and creative director whose work celebrates community through a cultural and historical lens. Dubbed a “generational Culture Shifter” by the Huffington Post and named one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People, his photography has appeared in Vogue, GQ, and InStyle for Nike, Beats by Dre, and Google.
