What’s Happening?

Montana State University Veterans Day 2026
SERVICE STILL MATTERS
Featuring Colonel Tom Schueman, U.S. Marine Corps
Military Advisor to the Director of DIU and Project Agincourt
Combat Veteran | Author of Always Faithful.
What does courage look like? What does sacrifice mean? And how can the lessons learned on the battlefield inspire us to serve others in our everyday lives?
Join us on Monday, November 9, as Montana State University welcomes Colonel Tom Schueman, U.S. Marine Corps, combat veteran and author of Always Faithful, for an unforgettable Veterans Day presentation.
Through powerful stories from his combat deployments in Sangin, Afghanistan, Col. Schueman will share lessons of brotherhood, leadership, selflessness, and the extraordinary sacrifices made by those who serve.
His message challenges us all:
"Do we have what it takes to make the small sacrifices?"
This is more than a presentation about military service. It is a message about humanity, purpose, responsibility, and what each of us can do to make a difference.
Join us as we honor our veterans, service members, and military families while reflecting on why Service Still Matters.
