What’s Happening?

La Vista’s annual celebration has been completely reimagined!

If you missed our 2021 event on the City Hall Campus, you won’t want to miss the 2022 festival! Kick off summer with a one-day extravaganza!

The schedule of events will delight young and old alike with fun for all ages, including a parade, entertainment, games, car show and fireworks display!

Main Stage Beer Garden featuring Pint 9 Brewing Company

1:30 p.m.
Festival grounds open

Kid’s Zone - City Hall south parking lot
Carnival games
Face Painting
Balloon animals
Giant Checkers, Jenga and Connect 4
Hot Wheels Racing
Chalk Art
Wildlife Encounters – showtimes at 3 p.m. & 5 p.m.

Adventure Zone – green space north of Jensen Tire
Climbing Wall
Inflatable obstacle courses
Bounce houses
Mini Golf
9-Square in the Air

Challenge Zone – green space north of yellow tent
Human Foosball
Foot Darts
Tug of War – at 2, 3 and 4 p.m.
Egg Toss – at 2, 3 and 4 p.m.

1:30-10 p.m.
Free shuttles to City Hall Campus from 78th and Josephine streets
Free parking at City Park Ballfields, 7629 Josephine St.

Community Cookout (while supplies last)

Help assemble personal hygiene kits for Moving Veterans Forward

9:30 p.m.
Fireworks Show (Central Park Lakes)
The fireworks show will be shot from Central Park Lake and can be viewed from the event site on the City Hall Campus.

11 p.m.
Festival grounds close

Parking
Parking for this event will be available in the street on Park View Boulevard as well as the following locations:

Harrison Street Baptist Church (8015 Harrison St.)
Bethany Funeral Home and vacant lot to the east (8201 Harrison St.)
ACCESSBank (7223 S. 84th St.)
Along Park View Boulevard

Free shuttle buses will also be available from:
78th and Josephine streets

Free parking at La Vista City Park Ballfields (7629 Josephine St.)

Parking at the shuttle stop is free and the buses will run continually for the duration of the event until after the final concert.
