Crafting-A-Future (CAF) is a portfolio development mentoring program that provides intensive education in craft media to teenage students throughout the St. Louis metro area. The curriculum concentrates on the development of concepts and techniques particular to the field of contemporary craft. Students work closely with local artists in Craft Alliance’s jewelry/metalsmithing, fiber, clay, wood, and tech studios to develop and exhibit a body of work in preparation for post-secondary education.

Opening Reception: Saturday, June 4 | 1-4pm

Join The Program: Students ages 13 -19 are eligible to apply. Through an informal interview, students are selected based on several criteria including but not limited to: interest level, commitment to consistently attend the Saturday sessions, dedication to time working outside the weekly group hours and review of past artwork.
