We’d like to thank you so much for participating in Epilepsy Awareness Day at Elitches and/or the Purple Duck Chase.  Here is some information you will need to know.

We will air the Purple Duck Chase live on our facebook fan page for those of you who are not attending the event.  We expect the race to start at approximately 9:45 AM MST.  https://www.facebook.com/thechelseahutchisonfoundation. We have 1251 purple ducks racing tomorrow.

We will have a table set up outside the main gate of Elitches at 7:30 AM – approx. 10:30 AM where you can pick up your tickets and tshirts. If you will not be arriving before 10:30 AM, your tickets will be at the Elitches Will Call window with your names on them. We will have any tshirts available to you during the Meet and Greet. If you need to reach someone tomorrow, please call 303-250-7739.

Elitches will allow us into the park early (approx. 9:00 AM) where you will be escorted to the Lazy River to observe the Purple Duck Chase. Anyone with an admission ticket or season pass will be granted this access.

We would love you to wear your branded tshirts inside the park in an effort to raise some awareness. If you did not purchase tshirts or purchase tickets through our site, please wear purple if you can.

The Ice Cream Social/Meet will be from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the Sunlight Pavilion. This will include ice cream treats, soft drinks and a shady place to sit and connect. We do have access to that space from 2:00 – close and you are welcome to be there if you need to rest for a bit during that time.

If you purchased tickets through our site, there will be a small tab that states “Catered Meal Stub”. That is your ticket for the Ice Cream Social/Meet and Greet. If you registered stating that you had a season pass and would be joining us, there will be an envelope at check-in with red tickets for you to use.

We will not be hosting the lantern walk as stated on the registration site as we found last year, we only had about 10 guests left in the park when the sun went down.

Kids Table will be performing in front of the Big Wheel between the Purple Duck Chase and the Meet and Greet.  Kids Table is a wonderful group who has connected with Chelsea Hutchison Foundation over the past couple of years and we’d love you to show them some love. There is an epilepsy connection to this group.
