What’s Happening?

EAST GALLERY::CMYK
Public Works Art Center studio artist exhibition exploring the subtractive color spectrum.

CMYK is a multidisciplinary show featuring artists at varying career stages. Artists must use Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, with the addition of white allowed, as their color palette. This palette is Public Works Art Center’s brand colors and can be found throughout the building. Viewers of the exhibition will be able to see CMYK from a variety of perspectives as each artist will offer a different point of view on the theme. While different, there will be a sense of connectivity throughout the show because the artists creating the work share an appreciation for Public Works, allowing for a feeling of community and connectivity. Participating artists are Emily Wilson, William Avenel, Karen Burnish, Paige Nelson, Larry Alexis, Sue Lowcavage, Joy Varley, Carol Bruno, Anne Peterson, Camille Soltani Icely, and Diane Bedard.

The reception for this exhibition will be Thursday, January 19 from 5:30-8:30pm.

Free admission - all are welcome!
