What’s Happening?

The Virginia Louise McClure Competitive Music Performance Award was established in 1974 at Florida State University by Virginia Louise McClure. The award was moved by the Paul and Linda Kahn Foundation to Jacksonville University in 2017 and is now a $1,500 scholarship awarded to the winner after a competitive round of auditions. Past awardees include Annabelle Gunn ’23, Alexandra Gravina ‘21, and Charly Anne Roper ’20.
