What’s Happening?

Self-love isn’t just some fluffy, feel-good trend. In fact, investing in yourself is essential for anyone who feels overwhelmed and exhausted from constantly driving themselves to be more than they are right now.

Ironically, self-care and self-compassion are needed most by those of us who work too hard and who are constantly striving to surpass ourselves and grasp the shape-shifting phantasm of perfection.

Self-love means that you have an appreciation, affinity, and positive regard for yourself. It isn’t about ego or arrogance – rather an appreciation that each one of us holds value as well as being able to treat ourselves kindly.

It’s a heartbreaking reality that so many of us don’t have the tools to love and accept ourselves without fear or judgement. We’ve been taught from an early age to repress our basic human emotions, leaving generations struggling with wounded hearts and minds in search of connection and approval

Most of the time, when we’re being too hard on ourselves, we do it because we’re driven by a desire to excel and do everything right, all the time. This entails a lot of self-criticism, and that persecutory inner voice that constantly tells us how we could’ve done things better is a hallmark of perfectionism.

We can take great strides in personal development when self-love is at its core–it’s one of life’s most powerful transformations.

I’m so excited to share various methods to unlock self-love and a newfound appreciation for yourself. There’s no better way to conclude such an important discussion than a peaceful meditation focused on celebrating self-love!

After my talk we will have plenty of time for a Q&A session where I’ll answer any questions and you will be able to share your experiences. Afterward, I’ll end the session with a 10-minute meditation.
