What’s Happening?

Join us and celebrate the magic of fairies in the Forest as you build a fairy house, go on a guided hike with a Naturalist, participate in a spring scavenger hunt, and stop by the nature-based educational displays along the boardwalk.

COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!

Masks are required while inside the Nature Center or whenever participants cannot maintain a six-foot distance from one another.

Timed entry is required. There are four sessions available (capacity 30 people per session). Pre-registration is required.

Cost: $15 for members, $25 for non-members. Members must sign in to receive discount.

Your support will benefit our educational programs and help to foster an appreciation of our natural world.

More about Fontenelle Forest
Founded in 1913, Fontenelle Forest is one of Nebraska's oldest conservation organizations and one of the largest private nature centers in the nation. This federally designated 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity is a National Natural Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Fontenelle Forest owns and manages two nature centers: Fontenelle Forest Nature Center in Bellevue and Neale Woods in Omaha. The properties encompass over 2,100 acres of forest, prairie and wetlands along the Missouri River in the geographically significant Loess Hills. The mission of Fontenelle Forest is to provide a place where people can experience and enjoy the quiet wild of nature. We want to inspire current and future generations to care for the natural world.
