What’s Happening?

Enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the heavily shaded grounds of the Neill-Cochran House Museum and share in some visual inspiration to feed your soul.

The Neill-Cochran House Museum hosts Art on the Lawn on Sunday, April 11th from 11 a.m. until 3 pm. Eleven Austin artists representing contemporary art to traditional representations will be presenting and selling their work on the grounds of the historic site.

Reduced admission to the museum will be available and includes Sunday Funday, our monthly family activity. Similar to the much-loved sock puppet, cardboard hand puppets can be made from recycled milk cartons, cereal boxes, and any other boxes you might have lying around. Come create an upcycled toy that can be used for hours of family fun! Volunteers will be on hand to help you bring your puppetry visions to life.

Though all activities will be taking place primarily outdoors, we still ask that all visitors wear masks at all times on the museum property. The Neill-Cochran House Museum is happy to provide free parking for our guests.
