International Cheetah Day 2023

Other Games Educational Zoo & Animals

What’s Happening?

In honor of International Cheetah Day on Monday, December 4, we hope you'll join us in celebrating and raising awareness of this iconic species. At the Little Rock Zoo, we have a cheetah group:  Padfoot and Prongs (brothers) and Maggie (female).

This group can be seen at the Cheetah Outpost each day: enjoying their habitats outfitted with anthills and great views of the veldt animals, playing with their toys and devouring daily treats.

Did you know that cheetahs' tails act look rudders as they run- helping to keep their balance?  Did you know that both the fur and skin of the cheetah are spotted?  Learn these facts and ore during our International Cheetah Day-- check back for more details.

* Please confirm directly with the promoter or box office to ensure event details have not changed.
