Black History Walking Tour (Eastside San Antonio)

What’s Happening?

Join us Saturday AUG 28, for a Walking Black History Tour highlighting some of San Antonio's most historic African-American landmarks and locations.

More than ever it is important that we understand the people and places that have helped to shape the identity of the Black Community, here in our city. If all politics are local then we declare the same in regards to history.

In this Walking Tour we will focus on some of the historic buildings and institutions that are located near Hackberry and Center Street; the heart of the Eastside of SATX.
