Scooter Brown

Jazz Music

What’s Happening?

Soulful, vibrant, and creative are just a few words that describe saxophonist, vocalist, producer, composer, and educator Scooter Brown. A native of East St. Louis, IL, Brown grew up surrounded by music and is an Alumni of JazzU and graduate of Northern Illinois University.
His recent debut album Growth! is a compilation of songs that have no particular genre, focusing more on what Brown likes to refer to as "Life Music." "I like to think of real-life situations that people can latch on to take them somewhere totally different. My job is to help wipe away the troubles that people might face before coming to hear me play."
