ABSOLUTELY!

Musicals Theater Comedy

What’s Happening?

Join Etgar Vereznu, the newly installed dictator of a fabulous former Soviet Republic, as he introduces himself to his nation the only way he knows how: through the transformative power of song. Absolutely! is a cabaret-cum-original musical-cum-LIFE CHANGING MUSICAL THEATER EXPERIENCE, and if you disagree we will straight up throw you in jail.

It’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch, performed by Kim Jong Un. It’s Liza at the Palace but fascist. And most of all it’s a loving ode to the ultimate totalitarian institution: solo musical cabaret.

David Rosenberg (Etgar/Book/Lyrics) is a writer and actor based in New York. His plays include What Else Is True? (Egg & Spoon, ART/NY) and Wicked Child (Zoetic Stage). His plays have been workshopped by Playwrights Horizons, Juilliard, Egg & Spoon, Zoetic Stage, and 29Salon. Acting credits include Death of a Salesman on Broadway, plus TV appearances on The Good Fight, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Law & Order SVU. MFA: Juilliard. BFA: NYU.

Luke Holloway (Music) is a writer/composer/orchestrator. He’s had works produced and performed at Goodspeed’s Norma Terris Theatre, Davenport Theatre, Cincinnati Children's Theater, Casa Mañana Theatre (Ft. Worth) the Brooklyn Children’s Theatre, and more. BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, and the Writer’s Colony at Goodspeed. He was trained at the Berklee College of Music in composition and music production. Luke’s acting credits include Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Pierre Replacement) and Million Dollar Quartet.
