Shoppers will also enjoy live demonstrations of crafts and trades.

Friday Evening Market with December's First Friday - 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Kick off the season with a festive evening at the VMHC! Shop the market while enjoying free museum admission, live music, food trucks, seasonal drink specials in the café, and family activities like crafts and a face painter!

Saturday Market - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Return Saturday to browse vendor booths throughout the museum’s first floor! Access to the market is free, but while you're here, check out the museum’s exhibitions, including Give Me Liberty: Virginia & The Forging of a Nation.

The oldest museum in Virginia and one of the oldest in the United States, the VMHC has devoted nearly two centuries to collecting and preserving the artifacts of our past to share the far-reaching history of the Commonwealth of Virginia with the world.
